lx90 to EOS adapter

Recommended Posts

Just got an EOS 300D. Trying to work out the best way to connect it to my LX90 and any recommended mods to the camera (it will still be used as a picture camera too though)

I think I need a Meade T-Adapter to screw to the rear of the OTA and then an adpater to take that to the EOS, although is there any reason not to get a standard 2" adapter into my 2" daigonal? and therefore save too much changing around?

Thanks

I would advise using the 2 inch adapter, maybe get a parfocal ring so you can establish focus quicker? As for the mods you will need to replace the ir filter with something like a Baader filter to keep the auto focus working , but this means adjusting the white balance manualy but you can get a filter for normal day time shots that saves you having to do white balance shots.

Hope this helps

Great cam and looking foward to your pics:)
