ETx70 motors failing??

hey guys noticed this a few times now, when i put my dew sheild on my telescope the hand box moans sayin motor failier replace batterys make it not stall ect ect

it dosent seem to do it when the sheild isnt in place would my motors be startng to die as the dew is designed for that telescope and its made of light plastic too

Hi Gareth, does replacing the batteries sort it ? As you say, the dewshield is

very light and designed for that scope, so shouldn't cause a problem.

There are several ETX 70s in my club. The owners have found that an external

rechargable power pack works much better than the internal batteries.

I use durecell pro cells. They don't seem to matter much . Iv been toyin with a leasure deep charge battery. Thanks for the link
