At last, there was a break in the clouds this morning, when I got up for work at 6am, so I grabbed my bins and set about finding Saturn. I knew roughly where it should be and low and behold within a few seconds there it was. Small but perfectly formed. I could clearly see the rings and was surprised at how bright it looked, but then all too quickly the sky lightened and it faded away.

Oh well, hopefully we will get a clear morning over the weekend and I'll try and get some pictures, with my Mak 127.
