Next scope?

Ok so it's probably going to be awhile. But I figured I'd start getting advice on the size and type of my next scope. I'm thinking about a 10 inch dob or maybe a mak-cas scope my objective is a good all around scope that is more powerful than my xt4.5, I've got a budget of about 700-1,000$ us I'm willing to spend.

Well, it's rather hard to comment if you don't also give some context (your observing habits and preferred objects, priorities, whether you like tracking and/or digital setting circles like the Orion Intelliscope, how large a scope you can transport to remote --darker-- skies...)
