Hey everyone, thought I would say hi and introduce myself.

After some camping this summer in some dark locatioins and seeing the wonders of the sky, I went out and bought a Skywatcher 130 reflector. We definitely had some fun with it and saw some interesting things. Glad I didn't go with a GOTO as it is very satisfying to hunt things down and finding them. The excitement when I found M13 and Andromeda was great. But like everything, boats - trailers - I get 'foot-itis" in this case 'inch-itis'. Looking to upgrade already, for a couple of reasons. Really want to see some DSO's and do some photography.....so I am looking at the SW 200 on a motorized eq5.

Anyway, will post some questions on that in the appropriate forum.

Hi and welcome to the lounge from the U.K. The skywatcher 200 on an eq mount is a great scope and would show you enough to keep you happy for a long time.

Like you, I feel the need to upgrade already, after just a few months. Got given a 10" Newt as a birthday present, but enjoy the 12" Lightbridge most of all. Already searching for a 16" . So easy just to dismantle and take out into the field!
