So much for a drought

So... we were in the midst of a drought till I decided to get a telescope. It hasn't stopped raining since. So my word of advice to any of you who may also be experiencing a drought, go and get a telescope. Drought cured.

I'd no idea that we were in a drought! The polar airstream coming across us on Sat, Sun and Mon should give some clear skies at times

You may be on to something Manok. My area of Wisconsin was officially in an 'extreme drought' condition this year but it started to rain as soon as i began planning to get the 16" LightBridge.

This is the first time in seven years that we received a normal amount of rain and although the lakes are still way below level because of the long-term drought conditions we're in, at least we had enough rain this year... compliments of Seymour.

Several week ago I bought a 5mm Radian specially for looking at Jupiter. I've yet to put it in the telescope...

Still, it does look nice in the conservatory. The wife's got a different view about that though.....
