I brought a 10-30x 50 zoom binocular form astroboot for a few pounds but they are way beyond repair. The optics are all good but collomination is shot and the zoom lever won't engage both eyepieces. However can I remove the eyepiece and reuse it as a zoom eyepiece in my 130 reflector?

Any ideas?
