Eyepiece help

I'm looking at two EP's.

Either the Skywatcher Nirvana 28mm or the Meade 5000 34mm SWAN.

The Meade at the moment is £100 off at £149 and the Nirvana can be had direct from Sky Rover for just over £200 plus shipping, or £235 from FLO for the Skywatcher badged one.

Has anyone got any experience with either EP?

It will be used in my F5 12" newt.

I wish I'd been into astro when I first got here, when it was almost 15RMB to the earth quid, things were really cheap then............

Yeah your not wrong there.

I've just been having a look on that 12strings fov website and the 34mm Meade SWAN gives a wider fov that the Nirvana 28mm, so I think I'm going to go for the Meade, its a brilliant price and it will be my lowest power EP.

I can whole heartily 100% totally recommend the Meade 5K 34mm SWA .......it's flippin awesome!!!!!! And flippin BIG!

I've been trying to pressure Keiran into selling mine back to me but he resisting and good for him I should never have parted with it. Works brilliantly with both my f5 newts. A beautifully corrected eyepiece.
