North East Newbie

Hello peeps, Joined the forum last year when i was looking for a setup but unfortunately had to be put on the back burner due to job loss.

Anyway just ordered a pair of Celestron Skymaster bins from FLO for my son for us to use with Stellarium to start off in Astronomy and find our way round the Universe before we take the plunge on some decent gear.

A very warm welcome to SGL, to you and your son, bins are an excellent way to start unraveling all those stars into constellations, have a look in our bins section for a free program called TUBA, it is very good for creating your own star maps to print off for taking out side, and do not forget the garden deck chair for those difficult views overhead, enjoy the forum.
