Just a quick post as this is the first time I have posted on this forum,, well I did a little imaging today of the active region AR1117 which at present is the most prominent at the moment, I hope you like them

Are the brighter regions deeper in the solar surface than the surrounding areas or is it the other way around ?.

Glad you liked them, the brighter areas are eruption points on the surface
