Another M45 Pleiades...

...but a first for me. I know my processing could be better - a star mask would help those star shapes. But I'm quite happy with the amount of nebulosity extracted, which wasn't particularly easy with my LP and vignetting (2" LP filter on my wish list!)

My setup certainly produces some crazy diffraction spikes, but I quite like them

Thanks chaps. I really do like the Pleiades so I'm chuffed to have finally gotten a chance to image it early Saturday morning! (not to mention a couple of other targets; it was a productive night). Only problem was it got light about 4 frames into my darks!

Nice pic, do like looking at M45, reminds me of flares dropped by pathfinders in WWII.
