Oii filter?

The two that are available on amazon are celestrons and televue.. I've read good things about televue in general, which do I get?

What scope will you be using the filter with ?.

The Tele Vue OIII has a very broad band pass width for an OIII - it's more like a UHC filter I believe.

The Celestron that I tried was a clone of the Baader OIII which is quite the opposite, and is a much more "aggressive" filter - fine if you have plenty of aperture to play with but not so good in smaller scopes.

Castell and Skywatcher both do OIII filters which have had good reviews from those who have tried them.

Sorry typing on the iPad.. It can create... Problems with the autocomplete, I've got a 4.5 inch reflector with a 1.25 eyepiece.

I would be thinking UHC rather than OIII then. The Orion Ultrablock is pretty good.
