A better attempt at a open cluster and spiral in the same shot

Hi folks,

Last night I imaged NGC 6946 and NGC 6939 again, this time using my Stellarvue 102 ABV as I reckoned I could do better than last time.

This is 6 X 7 min subs at ISO 800, darks subtracted.

Camera modded Canon 450D

Guided via PHD on my Losmandy G11

A bit more zoomed in for this shot but got some great colours and structure, also there appear to be several faint galaxies sprinkled about too which is an unexpected bonus!

Nice image John. I viewed these two objects last night in my 10" Dob and was able to get both in the same FOV with my 26mm Nagler.

Its great to see a quality image of the same - well done.

Very nice image John. 6946 is tricky but you've brought it out nicely and managed to control the stars really well too.
