NGC6888 - Crescent Nebula

Finally got round to processing this image, taken from Les Granges, in Southern France.

Scope: TEC140

Camera: Atik 4000 Mono

Colour: ~1hr per channel in 5mins subs

Ha: 2hrs 40mins in 10mins subs

OIII: 4hrs in 10mins subs

This is R(Ha)G(OIII)B(OIII), added blend mode lighten about 50%. Processed a bit in PS and a bit in the PixInsight trial I've got at the moment.

Hi Jordan,

I wondered where this one had gone to! This is great with really good use of the O111. Very nice job all round. Splendid range of star colours, too, and hardly affected by the NB data.

Olly, it was a long time coming but got to it in the end.

Myk, yes the NB data really helped to bring this out.
