Andrew*
It's only a possible discovery, but here goes:telescope on the grass. The focusser on the side of the scope In the focusser, the camera adaptor. The extention barrel screws on to the adaptor. The eyepiece slides right inside the extention barrel (which is why it has a screw). The T-Ring screws onto the extentioin barrel with the eyepiece right inside. The T-Ring attaches to a Minolta 505si super. The photos rattle off.Have I got the idea?Andrew
geppetto
Sounds right but then I've never done any eyepiece projection stuff.Best with prime focus I would have thought, less glass between you and the target...
Kaptain Klevtsov
I tried and failed with the EP projection stuff on Saturn last year. I'd stick with prime focus to start with, and as its wet film and EP projection increases the required exposure time, I'd REALLY stick with prime focus. Could be fun pointing at distant daytime stuff though.Captain Chaos
