Star parties are organised gazing events in a dark site location. Kelling Heath is supposed to be a very good site, and the answer is yes, you would see more because of the lack of light pollution.

This will be my first one, and am looking foward to it!

HI GUY'S I went to Kelling it's quite dark but very windy in fact was holding on to the tent thought i was going to wake in the next field one hell of a drive though if you want a dark sight try Kielder it's one dark site . Tom.

Tom, Russ and I had a similar problem when we went last year!

We had some amazing dark skies for a few hours then the wind picked up and the rain started... we actually got up at around 3am and had to pack the car the weather was thast bad!!!
