I have just been given an attractive popular science book on string theory by its author Marcel Vonk. This somewhat challenging subject becomes doubly impenetrable since it is in Dutch...

Marcel came last year and again this, with a group of friends. An image of the Bubble which he took with me graces a full page, my first appearance in a hardback publication. Rather exciting! Marcel hopes that there will be an English translation, in which case I will see how I get on with the words...
