free reading resource

Recommended Posts

Hi all.

I am just starting out with astronomy and I have found a software package for the Linux operating system called KStars. Now, not many people use Linux and so this package may well be unsuitable for lots of people. But what it also has which I find absolutely fantastic is a free astroinfo section in its manual.

I have started reading this resource and am finding it really useful so I thought I would put the link up in case anyone else needed it.

Don't you love Windows when it sits there grinning at you in the morning having rebooted itself after another 20 security patches and your stacking has to start again?

I have auto update turned off. The thing updates on MY schedule!!!!
