Hi Chaps,

Can anyone advise on what these (Coronado BinoMite White Light 10 X 25 ) are like and would they be  a good introduction to Safe Solar viewing? i am nervous when it comes to this subject but rapidly getting more interested with the need to observe our Sun. Coronado seem to be a respectfull company and one i may trust...

Coronado have certainly got a good reputation James, I've no idea about the Binomites though...

I would have thought them to be safe James. If they use the same methods of coating the optics as they do on their scopes, should have no worries.

Well just planned a trip to stockport binocular in 4 weeks time so i'll try em out there could be the first proper time i have seen the Sun too :shock:
