I've just tried processing this data which I collected on the 15th. Forgot all about it as I have been working on M27.

Anyway I took 8 x 5min of R&G, then 12 x 5min of B. I'm playing with the number of subs of each filter. I also took 8 x 2min of Luminance but haven't used it here.

Taken at F4.5 with the 314L+

Thanks for looking.

Wow! Thanks Peter. I'll try to apply what I've learnt today processing M27.

Dave thanks for the comments. I've checked the vanes and they seem to be ok - could this be poor focus?

Mark

EDIT: I've taken a closer look and two of the veins, opposite each other aren't exactly at 90 degrees to the mirror - is that the problem? Thanks for the advice.

Wow Mark.

Peter has certainly enticed a lot more detail out of your really good image. It just goes to show what is hidden there, and that processing really is a steep learning curve, but one well worth mastering. It must give you great encouragement.

Regards.

Mick.
