Baader Filters

Hello,

What is the difference between the Baader "Fringe Killer" filter and the Baader "UV/IR" filter? I have an Omni 120 achro refractor, and I ordered the UV/IR filter to remove the blue halo around the planets when I see through the scope and take pictures. Is my purchase correct?

Are you imaging or observing? UV/IR could be useful for imaging, but not for observing. Fringe killer could work for both.
