Ags
I've just been on FLO looking at the cost of my dream setup.Option 1 would set me back £2014 (which is coincidentally when I might have saved up the money lol).Option 2 with less aperture and a lighter mount would still be £1641.Why do C8s never come up for sale second-hand? Ags
It's C6 on an EQ3 Pro vs C8 on an EQ5 Pro either with DMK and some visual accessories...
John
I picked up a fork mounted C8 a few years ago, in very nice order, for £350. No good for imaging (on that mount) but for visual use it was excellent - it showed me the best view of Saturn I've ever had, with an 8mm Tele Vue plossl They do come up but you have to keep your eye on the "for sale" boards.
