The forecast was much better than the actual weather today - just a couple of sunny intervals in the afternoon seperated by a cloudy spell, and the seeing was poor, especially later when cirrocumulus was spreading in.

Solar disk blank in white light except for a small faint patch of faculae in the north west.

1325 UT. Coronado PST CaK, prime focus, DMK41

1333 UT. Solarscope 60, 0.5x focal reducer, DMK41

Disk surface activity is mostly of the filamentary variety and concentrated in the northern hemisphere. A large dense filament is near the meridian

1505 UT. WO FLT 110, Solarscope SF-100, 2.5x Powermate, DMK21

Filaments and a minor plage in the north western sector. Sorry about the missed bit:

Prominences numerous but moderate in size. I was unable to image the spikes in the SE and the proms in the NE sector due to cloud cover.

Transparency mostly good but with interference from drifting low cloud & encroaching cirrocumulus later. Seeing poor with considerable boiling, expecially near cirrocumulus. Temperature 19C, wind W force 3.
