Finally a clear night and the moon is gibbous! lol

Ah well, I managed out to the garden anyway. ZLM was about 4.6

Started off with M45 (which was nice)

Then the Perseus Double Cluster: Spotted a nice red star in the center and sketched this area. Starry night doesnt seem to tie up with what I saw though. Any ideas on this? Sketch here:

Just before I moved over to look at M31 a nice bright meteor shot up the leg of Perseus (oh er!) moving WNW at 21:45

M31: Sketched again though a little washed out by the moon.

Moved over to Auriga to look at M36 (nice), M37 (Good but not as clear as M36), and M38 - all looked best with 18mm ep

Cheers

Depending on the sky, I have seen four/five warm stars in the Double Cluster, including two prominent ones in the centre.

One of my favourite objects 8)

Yes I think I've made out the region in another ver of SNP

My version (5) of SNP doesnt give me individual star names for stars within the clusters as yours seems to Steve. What version is that?

Cheers
