Crescent Moon Colour Saturated to show soil variations

Recommended Posts

I was woken by someone's alarm at 4 this morning.

I stepped outside to see what it was and the sky was virtually clear.

Couldn't resist taking a few images of the Moon just before the mist rolled in.

Taken with Nikon D300 at prime focus of a 10" Newtonian.

Stack of 15 separate images.

High Pass filter to sharpen image and colour saturation increased to show subtle soil variations.
