SPC900NC LXP MOD, Worthwhile?

I know this was a big popular modification back when SPC's were easy to get hold of, but has anyone here used one of the long exposure modded webcams and is it a worthwhile mod to consider?

What does it give you? How far can you push it?

Nope. Is there a link to details of the mod at all? I've heard about it, but not seen how it's done etc.

looks quite expensive

but results look ok

theres 2 chips that make camera more sensitive both b/w

aswell as long exp mod, and cooling fan
