Camera Control

Ok I have various Nikon cameras I can use for AP and I have Nikon Camera Control which gives me various controls over the camera but one thing it lacks is control over number of frames and interval between.

I downloaded DSLR Shutter but it works with serial/parallel ports and I am using USB.

So the question is .. Is there any software out there that will do the control of the camera such as when to trip the shutter etc?
