NEQ6Pro counterweight bar play

Hi all,

The counterweight bar of my NEQ6Pro has a little play in it. With or without the weights the bar moves slightly at 90 degress to the tightening knob. So when loaded and I slew the scope the weights can 'flop' from one site to the other a bit.

Is this normal and if not does anyone have any advice on how to adjust the mechanism that grips the bar.

Sounds pretty normal.

Both my HEQ5 and NEQ6 have similar "slop"

I just checked my HEQ5, when the bar is down and locked there is no movement.

Thanks for the replies. Hmm. I guess I'll leave this one for now.

It doesn't impact on use - just one of those "it's cloudy again so what needs fixing" questions.
