Still getting to grips with the Lunt60 double stacked and the tuning filters.... and the processing technique as well. A few images from a series taken on the 20th over a span of 30 min between the first image and the last.

All advice and comments appreciated, especially on the tuning of the filters in the Lunt system.

Nice captures there Sheri , good surface detail with plenty to see around the active region.

Im sure you are already aware but to find the Best surface detail...firstly Tune/Tilt the etalon on the scope until you can see the most contrast and then add the 50mm filter and do the same again/Filter only/this will give you the most detailed views.

From an imaging perspective,its my understanding that most tend to capture limb and surface detail seperately and then combine the two , so if doing that you would be best to capture Proms/limb with just the scope and then add the 50mm for detailed surface capture.
