Star Party Costs?

As the title say, how much do star parties generally cost to go to? Also are there fees for pitches with electricity and all that? Just want to get an idea because I might head over to the UK for one and I'd need to budget etc

Most Starparties post their prices on the net.

Kielder is next up at £10 per night. Kelling is fully booked I believe.

Normally around the £12 per night mark, this should include electric. Apart from this the only other outlay is food and drink really.

I was just looking, Astronomy Ireland are having a starparty in a fortnight but the price is €39. That is triple the average price for a British starparty. Is this stupidly excessive for one night standing in a field?

Don't forget that - where the organisers have arranged a discount, going to (e.g.) Kelling Heath is cheaper than going to the campsite at any other time.

Kelling Heath is £12 per pitch this year including ehu. So unless they're doing something a bit special extra then 30 euro's sounds a tad rich for one night.

Think I'd want a decent meal served by attractive cocktail waitresses thrown in for that lol.

Probably the quietest "party" you'll ever go to
