markarian
Tried out a new filter last night on this one. First time for a 2" Skywatcher LPR filter. Also using a Badder MPCC which I've only used a few times.I've been using an old Lumicon Deep Sky filter up to now for LP reduction but it was very aggressive and gave the whole image a nasty cyan hue. This has a much lighter touch. Not sure if it will work on more nebulous objects though? The MPCC is fantastic. This is at the edge of the frame as I failed to centre it properly - stars seem circular right to the edge.10x180s subs, Skywatcher 200P, Canon 350D (unmodded), guiding with C80ED and Guidemaster, processed in Nebulosity 2 and Photoshop CS5.Comments welcome. ThanksMark[EDIT added larger version]
