Jupiter and moon Friday 13th 1.50AM

Jupiter was high enough for me to use my back garden 65 seconds AVI on SPC900 before the clouds came in.

Celestron 127Mak x2 Barlow with baader neodymium filter and an IR/UV blocking filter.

Still think I could have got more focus, but thats a mission in its own!

I consider this my first real attempt at getting the processing correct - 550/620 frames, finished off in Light Room.

Im guessing the Moon is Callisto...?

Excellent shot , looks great to me, I could only make suggestions if I had managed to capture Jupiter myself ,but as I am struggling with both weather and webcam set-up I haven't got one shot yet !

Stuart - It was 10 FPS, also I should have put my capture settings on for astrocapture...I forgot to save them!!!

Yep your doing all the right things there. I did run your image through auto balance RGB on Registax and it does reduce the blue.

Very good image. Focus seems fine to me. I often use 15 FPS, especially when the seeing is not great.
