cheap software

ive just seen some planetarium software on ebay for 5.99, is this a good deal or just stellarium with a price tag? is there any point in buying software you can get free?

I don't think there is any point buying software when Stellarium is so good.

I bought Redshift 7 and Stellarium is still the package I use.

I' ve bought sky voyager for my iPod, but stellarium does everything I need on the pc

It might actually be stellarium that they are selling. There was a thread on here a few weeks ago discussing the morals of such an activity

thought it looked similar- wait exactly the same- been eyeing up starry night software, looks like its good to the eye and lots of features, dont know whether its worth £40 though

Stellarium gets my vote on useability and price tag. It 'aint broke!!

Stellarium is fantastic. I've been using it for ages and with every new version it just keeps getting better.
