M27 Dumbell - help with processing

Hi

Captured this last night...

Canon 300d unmodified on nexstar 102SLT.

ISO 1600

20 sec exposures

27 frames

8 min 56 secs exposure in total.

Managed to stack in DSS but I need help with post processing. What do I need to do to bring out the most detail?

PS this is just a jpeg so I could upload quicker, original is 16 bit tif.

If you have photoshop, go into Image/adjust and play with various controls and see what you can get.

Adjusting levels (especially the middle arrow - move it towards the dark part of the histogram), will bring out more nebulosity, but also lightens the sky. Hopefully this will be better on the 16bit tif.
