Frustrating session!

Taking a peak on the Soho website earlier (which I have noticed contains an error), I spotted there were a few prominences around - so prompted by this and the fact that the sun was out I setup the PST.

Sure enough there are several small prominences, but every time I centered anything a cloud scudded across and all I could do was sit it out for the next five/ten minutes. For anyone with a bit less cloud around than us there is a bit to see - but I gave up and came back in. I just don't find it fun observing with a lot of quick moving intermittent cloud around.

Yes, those quick moving clouds are a pain in the scope

Best to pack in rather than get stressed

Ah, right. You know, there are only like 10 people globally that have noticed that... 8) They're the same ones that noticed the Moon pics being published upside down, or what have you.
