This is the second image taken with my 8 inch Newt and EQ6 pro with canon 350D (mod)

Its 8 x 10min, darks, flats applied at ISO 400

Excellent image love the colour and detail, were you using any filters, reducers/correctors on the newt for this image?

Thanks guys. yes I used a Light Pollution filter (IDAS LPR), and a MPCC to correct for coma.

The image is a little clipped and there is some filed curvature on the edges. This was becuase the tracking was a little off. I will post another version once I have fixed this.

I decided to re do some of the processing as it was a little clipped. I think this version is better

Missed this one first time round.. what a cracking image - your using the 350D to great effect

I think there's another tweak of image somewhere in between those two.. maybe try combining them as layers and altering the transparency ...

looks even better on a decent monitor....

Ditto what Martin says and also that it looks awesome in the slightly wider field than normally imaged.
