collimation cap

i'am looking for a collimation cap

i have made one out of a film canister but its to big to fit the the eyepiece

so any one got one for sale or where i can get one

Just to check, you are no attempting to put it over the eyepiece are you?

It should be going into the focuser

Try astroboot - I've seen them on there but you may have to monitor the page for a day or two

the film canister that i got the will not fit into

the 1.25 eyepiece focuser

the diameter is just a little over the 1.25 size of the focuser

Just wondering.. does the eyepiece holder have a compression ring in it? My film cannister collimation cap doesn't slip into the holder sometimes because it's catching on the compression ring.
