Mounting Red dot and finder scope at the same time?

Hi all,

Can anybody advise me as to how I can go about mounting my red dot finder, as well as my finderscope to my Skymax 127 scope?

I don't really want to start drilling in extra holes etc to add a second mount - bit was wondering if there are any other methods?

Double sided tape, that's what the telrad comes with, it's that sort that's a bit spongy.

Be warned though - it doesn't like the heat and has a tendancy to just drop off in warm weather!

Also, clean the area where you're going to stick it with something like isopropyl first.

If the red dot is the right shape(!) you could try a couple of plastic cable ties round the main tube.

Or take a look at scopestuff.com - they have a dual Vixen adapter tyhat simply plugs onto the existing vixen shoe.

Jubillee clips and a bracket made from some aluminium channel (B&Q sell short lengths)?

I know it's not the prettiest solution but it won't fall off!!
