Mosaic making!

Recommended Posts

Im no expert but I have done a rough mosaic. I just shot the moon (with my 250p ds and D200 with a 2x barlow) made sure there was sufficient overlap in the shot and CS4 did a good job of stitching together.

Im sure there are better, more accurate methods but as a start this worked reasonably well.

Brendan, it means you can use a high frame rate (tends to be small sensor, and therefore small FOV) to create a full disk image of the moon. The details tend to be far better than using an SLR to capture the data.
