Night of Occultations on December the 4th

Just been playing around with Starry Night as you do when you have not had some clear skies etc etc and ive discovered for myself that there will be a Fantastic evening of Occultations with M45 and the Moon on the morning of the 4th of Decemeber this year! Some of you maybe aware of this but for those who are not hopefuly this post will help and give you a heads up and also newbies the chance to see some stars dissapear behind the Moon...

Here's a Screen Print depicting the scene for the Morning of the 4th of December..

Well worth marking down in your calenders!

Also to note you can have a pratice run on Nov the 3rd when Epsilon Piscium Occulatates with the Moon around 7.15 7.45ish...

3.25 am!!! :shock: Getting/staying up at that time is a challenge in itself... :? Thanks for the heads up James, but may need a jog of memory nearer the time...

It'll be the dark limb of the Moon that's doing the osculation, too, from the look of it. That'll be good, and it isn't so late at night for me, either.
