IC63 in H-Alpha

This is quite a faint object (despite SkyMap referring to it as a 'bright' nebula!), and I'd planned on giving it 3 hours. However cloud then fog rolled in after an hour....

Which was a shame, as its starting to show some detail...

So this is 60m, 200mm Newtonian at F4.6.

Hi Dave , yes that is a great image , i know how hard that devil is to get , and the image size on this is great , spot on tracking lovely work on a very difficult object

May i ask why you`ve done that in hydrogen alpha?

Carl, the image was done in HA because the object is more prominant in Hydrogen Alpha infact most of it is and using the filter lets you record that which is invisible without..
