Amazing for the time? It would be cutting edge NOW.

Having seen the Giza pyramids up close and personal they are totally amazing. Round the base are broken bits of the polished exterior and they are still so flat that its mind blowing. The blocks are also huge, maybe the higher up ones are smaller, but the bottom few layers are several tonnes each. You can't clamber up for a better look as there's a bloke there to shoot those that try. He also threatens to shoot people if they dont tip him as well. AMHIK.

God if you dig deep enough you can find all kinds of stuff. The planet x theory is that our sun is a binary system. Somewhere out there we have a brown dwarf, this is what caused Noah's flood and the 10 plagues of exodus, this is also the reason that the present age of man will end coz its coming back, guess when ?? 2012. Weird.

Brown Dwarfs actually appear fairly bright close up. We'd be able to see it if it was going to be here six years from now, and would probably have been able to see it in any kind of orbit around the sun. Just to give you some ammo if you're in a bar discussion on the topic. Hope it doesn't spoil my retirement in 2012.

Isn't that the end of the last ice-age when all the seas started rising - It represents a world changing event at any rate and the idea of predicting the next one fits in there somewhere but it's beyond me!
