Cornelius Varley Posted June 30, 2010 Share Posted June 30, 2010 First answer is sort of correct. A barlow lens multiplies the focal length of the telescope by the power of the barlow. So a telescope with a focal length of 1000mm becomes a telescope of 3000mm with the 3x barlow.Peter Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
