Starry Nights Pro 6

Is there a way to reduce the number of stars in Starry Night so only the brightest objects are visable? Thanks.

Go to options tab, scroll down to stars, then across to "stars mag and distance"-click ! choose your preference

There is in SN4 - so almost certainly in version 6.

See attached a screen grab of the location of the setting in V4 - you'll need to look for something similar I guess in V6.

First click on the "View Options" which moves the menu out from the left.

Then hover the mouse over the word "stars" and a button appears.

Then drag the little slider left and right to make the adjustment.

Hope that it's similar in V6...!
