That's not possible on the CG5 as the dovetail mount is integral to the declination shaft assembly, unlike a Skywatcher EQ6 Pro, where it can be changed (I changed mine to Losmandy). However, all may not be lost! ADM make a Vixen dovetail to Losmandy dovetail adapter - I use one when I fit my C9.25 to my EQ5. FLO should be able to supply one. What I don't know is if the Celestron CGE dovetail is the same dimension as the Losmandy, but I'm sure someone on SGL (or FLO) can advise. You don't say why you want to do this. Those adapters are not cheap. The price of an adapter plus a CGE dovetail and you're heading towards £200.
