The Royal Society Summer Science Exhibition

Welcome to See Further: The Festival of Science + Arts | See Further Festival 2010

at the Royal Festival Hall in London starts at the end of this week and goes on through the whole of the next week. There will be some astro related stuff, including by special request Durham's Cosmic Origins 3D movie

Our Cosmic Origins: Building the Milky Way | See Further Festival 2010

which was first shown at last year's exhibition, and for which yours truly designed the fiddly bits in the solar system and our galaxy. I will be down in London demonstrating on the stand at various times.

There is also a display about the European Extremely Large Telescope:

Designing a giant eye on the sky | See Further Festival 2010

Admission to the science displays is free - there are some lectures/events etc which cost money.
