MartinB
4th October, had a lovely clear night. Spent a long time narrow band imaging the Heart Nebula but the moon proved too much and the fainter nebulosity was being lost. Decided on a few quick test images mainly to check FOV and exposure lengths. Took 8x45 sec unfiltered subs. Looked pretty naff but had a go at processing them today and was very surprised at how much was hidden away! Looking forward to having another go on a moonless night.Stacked and some processing in ImagesPlus. Finished in PS.
