Registax 5 tutorial?

Recommended Posts

  • 4 months later...

I'm not having any luck with the Limit function. I drag the slider to the right - about half way - expecting only half the frames to be used. However, I am getting all the frames included.

Clearly I'm doing something wrong. Anybody have any clues?

Thanks,

Dave

Somebody posted this link previously, I found it useful as a beginner;

RegiStax- Bob Pilz article

Glad someone can get this link to work.

I can't.

In fact this whole webcam imaging business has been one frustration after another.

NOTHING WORKS

THINGS DONT DOWNLOAD

EVEN IF THEY DO THEY DONT INSTALL.

I have tried 2 computers 2 different operating systems.

WHY IS EVERYTHING SO RIDICULOUSLY HARD:mad::)?

I think someone has broken the interwebs. I can't get that page at the moment either.

I've not had any major software problems though. In fact the trickiest bit has been getting the scope really well focused.

Hi All, I've been going through the same tutorial but from some reason I always end up with a blurred result.

I cant figure out what I'm doing wrong, does anyone have any ideas?

I start off using the values mentioned in the tutorial, although my input is 500 frames from an AVI clip (screenshot 1), then proceed with the stack / limit tab (screenshot 2) then the result is the dismal screenshot 3.

Thanks for the help!

Zak
