Just as well we don't still use imperial for eyepiece focal lengths though ......

I agree. it would make using my 14mm, 18mm, and 24mm 1.25" format eyepieces a struggle, not to mention my 35mm 2" Panoptic :D

I voted 5" (for my 120mm frac) and 12" for my (12" dob)

Just added a 12" to my setup, so the 8" will be going at some point.

Russ if your selling the 200p closer to august im your man.... alternatively if i pay can you keep it till im passing 1 weekend???

Real shame as i just came back from the NF today and would have gladly picked it up on the way through :-(

i can most probably make a trip sooner if required but kinda defeats the object of a cheap purchase lol....

"I'm amazed at how many people have a 3" scope. I wonder what you all use them for"

I'm intending to use mine for widefield photography guided by an 8". Or the other way round - jury's out till I learn a bit more about snapping the sky lol

I'm amazed at how many people have a 3" scope.

Nice size for a grab 'n' go rich field scope. Lighter & more flexible in terms of magnification than your 20x90 bins ... does a similar job. A good 3" / 80mm frac makes a nice solar scope too.
