Taken last night at about 22.40 BST. The planet was about 37 degrees above the horizon, but seeing was good for the altitude.

I used a 1.8x Barlow with the 2-1M camera, which produces a good image scale. The final iimage is a 125% resample

ps.

the previously reported storm can be seen towards the bottom of the image, albeit greatly elongated now

The scope was a C14 with a Televue 1.8x Barlow. The focal length was in the region of eight metres

Amazing stuff! What cam are you using Nick? I love the shadow which you see cast back over the rings- really great.

You have a mighty scope and you have a real talent for this stuff- might need to hijack both!
